Legion XIII Roman lead sling bullet Munda Spain Julius Caesar Pompey the Great
Roman lead sling bullets found from the battle at Munda Spain during the Roman civil war between Julius Caesar and Pompey the Great.  The ancient slingers who threw these lead bullets propelled them like a spinning American football for bulls eye accuracy.  I purchased several of these for different reasons of which I will describe here.  This lead sling bullet is near perfect, so eith...er this one missed it's mark entirely and hit dirt or was dropped by the slinger.
