An original vase cap riser sporting oversized heat vents is just the beginning of what sets this marvelous vintage offering apart from others. A genuine set-screw adjustable harp and a smooth operating pull chain on a dual socket assembly add to it...s particular appeal. The gently rounded and tiered brass column has aged beautifully and the highly decorated 7 inch base depicts Arts & Craft / Mission motifs in deep relief and high glory.
The lamp measures 18 inches tall, weighs 3 lbs 11 oz and the vase cap seats at 3 1/4 inches. The large base is magnetic. I see minimal surface wear and its in very good condition regardless of its age. All parts appear original and complementary and the fittings are tight. I have only dusted and leave the cleaning to the buyer's discretion. Worn electric parts should be updated prior to lamp use.
I acquired this piece with a handsome hoard of lamps and period parts from established antiquities dealers over the years for my lighting business. I am selling excess inventory to lessen my storage.
