Original Description:
I think this is an original gas fixture that was updated and restored but cannot be totally positive.  Nice fancy brass pieces.  Gas turn off valve with visible solder to keep it from turning.  Some visible silver colored solder around a few places where the pieces join together.  Drop from the top to the very bottom of the gas valve is 19 inches.  Beautiful fixture for the Victorian home
