Souvenir Panama Pacific Exposition San Francisco 1915 Lowney Chocolate Book Map
This is an antique "Souvenir Panama Pacific Exposition San Francisco 1915 Lowney's Chocolates" advertising booklet with pictures of attractions and map of grounds that is in readable intact condition. This lithograph booklet measures 6 1/4" x 4 1/4" and has 6 pages. I have photographed some sample pages for your examination. The front cover features a humorous illustration of old model-T type car pac...ked full of tourists. This little car with people is on each page in front of the exhibits. There is a also a sign that tells how far it is to the "Lowney's Chocolate" store. The inside back page has an advertising text about Lowney's. The back cover has a well detailed map of the Panama Pacific Exposition grounds. The artwork is by Richard W. Rummell. There are 9 different views features in the booklet. One page has zeplin and war ships. The book is complete but the staples show age and are rusted and stained the paper. Some pages got loose as a result. There is yellowing and a bit of edge chipping on a few pages as would be expected from an item of this age. Over all it is a nice booklet for being over 100 years old. The advertiser is The Walter M. Lowney Company (Boston, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Montreal). This is a rare item. My photos are of the actual item you are getting.
