I don’t know much about this lovely little quill work bag or pouch but it’s beautifully made and the sweet calico fabric on the inside looks like perhaps it dates to the first half of the 20th century. The leather is still soft but has a bit of soiling & “patina, ” as you can see from the photos. The sides appear to be sewn with sinew although I can’t say for sure. There’s a bit of wear to the quill work, mostly at the top left, perhaps from the flap, ...but overall this piece is in good vintage condition overall. ***Please note that the colors are not as bright than my photos seem to show, more of a soft coral or salmon.
