Up for auction is a beautiful 1976 Suzuki RM370A that is ready to display inyour collection, take to shows, or race in your local vintage motocross series. The RM370 was only produced from 1976-1977 and it is getting harder andharder to find clean examples in this condition. The value of vintages bikes is only going upand this will be a sought after bike for years to come! This RM has been... sitting in my personalcollection and is ready to move on to its next home. Although this bike has been on display (notraced) it starts right up, shifts, and runs very strong. This bike has many new parts, many original OEM, and is ready to ride or display. New parts include a professionally restoredOEM fuel tank, throttle cable, clutch cable, levers, OEM fuel petcock, chain, front and rear sprockets, OEM chain guide, PFR Performance Racing Pipe andSilencer (PFR Pipes are each hand built!), top end (piston, rings, circlips, pin, bearing), front and rear tires, and Vintage-Suzuki period correct plastics. Please see detailed pictures provided and ifyou need more, I am willing to take additional pictures, videos, or show thebike in person.In 1976, the RM370A was “thebike” that lead Roger DeCoster to the World Championship and Suzuki touted thisbike as the “closest to owning a factory machine.” After 2 years the RM370 wasreplaced with the RM400 in 1978. 1976 was the first year Suzuki used the newlighter chrome-moly frame and featured the newly designed power reed intakevalve. The ’76 featured a 5 speed transmission and the new “Tru-Track”suspension for an impressive 8.44 inches of travel. This was the lightest andarguably the best handling bike in the class in 1976 weighed in at 225 pounds.The 1976 RM370A is an open class bike with a smooth power band and puts outaround 40 horse power.Please do not bid if you do not intend to buy and feel free to ask any andall questions.
