DESCRIPTION: Vintage Koret c.1940's rare and unique Schiaparelli influenced leather box purse. Created from black "Koretolope" (a non-crockable suede calf leather unique to Koret handbags) and metallic gold leather botanical filigree applique. Trapezoidal box shape. Single shoulder strap made up of four single rolled thin suede leather straps. Double hinge top opening with two pull tabs. Two vanity mirrors at underside of opening. Fully lined in black and light gold satin. Three interi...or slide pockets. Black satin zipper top coin purse attached to interior via thin black cord. Small clear comb. Marked Fabric Content: "Koretolope, 'Non-Crockable' Suede Calf". Unmarked Fabric Content: Genuine leather; rayon (interior). MEASUREMENTS:Strap Drop: 7.75”Height: 3.5”Length: 7.5” (measured on bottom)Depth: 3.25” (smallest point); 6.25" (widest point) CONDITION: Excellent / Wear consistent with age and use. Excellent aside from minor loss to gold finish; minimal imperfections to suede and lining; Coin purse is missing zipper pull.
