Offered is a beautiful pair of partially beaded Northern Plains (Crow) Moccasins. This design with geometric shapes is common among the Northern Plains tribes along with the hard (parfleche) sole. These date sometime in the second half of the 20th Century and came from an Iowa collector, who identified them as Crow made. They measure 9 1/2" in length (about a woman's size 7). It looks they have some sinew stitching along heels but most of the sewing appears to be w...ith thread. Very good condition. Some discoloration on parfleche sole. There are two or three tiny rows of beads missing on toe of the left moccasin and one strand is lifted and knotted up near cuff.A few pinholes in leather and stitching is pulling a bit between sole and base but not undone. Please see pictures. Important Information for all Items:* We will gladly combine orders to save you on shipping charges. Please email for a combined invoice before paying. Sometimes a few first class items jump to priority pricing ($7.25 and up) because weight puts a package over the 16 ounce limit. Sorry, I can't combine collectibles and book/Magazine purchases, however. If you want me to hold items for the next week's auction, please contact me and wait to pay until the last auction ends. Then I'll send you a combined invoice. If you pay right away, I will NOT be able to hold your items due to Ebay's ship within 1-day after payment rule. Please tell me if you are waiting for next week's auction. If you don't communicate and don't pay, you will get an automated non-paying bidder notice from Ebay after 4 days. Thank you!*International Buyers: I will mail first class to Canada but to all other locations, I prefer to mail priority to insure your item arrives safely. Sorry for the expense, but I've had items lost overseas when mailing first class and don't want to take the risk of losing items. I will send them in a box within a padded flat rate envelope. You are responsible for any duty your country charges. * Please contact us before leaving negative feedback if something isn't right with your item. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase
