This listing is for an exceptionally rare set of cuff links and tie tack depicting the Apollo 11 capsule set against the background of space. Items are vintage and date to the Apollo era. A similar set has been donated to the National Air and Space Museum by a former astronaut. I've ocassionally seen other sets of just the cufflinks OR cufflinks and a tie bar for sale, but this set comes with the same tie tack as pictured on the Museum website. This set is in excellent condition, with ...all facets of the jewelry in place. Items are mixed material in construction. While it's been confirmed similar sets were given to NASA employees, engineers and perhaps other staff involved in the Apollo project, the providence of this particular set is unknown.
