CAST IRON SKILLET # 7 with EARLY LOGO and OUTSIDE HEAT RING. Circa 1903 - 1910. This skillet is marked on the bottom: WAPAK 7. The letters are not stamped deeply so are rather faint. There is also another faintly stamped W just to the left u...nder the W in WAPAK. This skillet has been cleaned and restored, ready to use after seasoning. PLEASE NOTE: Skillets with heat rings are not recommended for use on glass cooktop stoves.CONDITION: This pan is in very good clean gently used condition with no pitting, no cracks, no warping, no damage or repairs noted. After years of use, the heat ring has been worn down quite a bit across from the handle (from about the 11:00 to 1:00 positions on a clock). Therefore it has a slight wobble when sitting on a hard glass surface which can be corrected by placing two playing cards under the heat ring at the top. The cooking surface is straight, not bowed, and is smooth to the touch, but it does have some minor utensil scratches which will fill in with seasoning and use. MEASUREMENTS: This skillet measures approximately 10 3/16" across pour spout to pour spout; 14 5/16" long from tip of handle to opposite rim; 2 1/8" high on the outside; cooking surface 8" in diameter.
