not an expert or a collector~ this was hanging in the attic of a 1920s house that was being demolished, was extremely dusty & glass globe was broken so removed it~ after cleaning attic grime & dirt off, I was surprised at how it cleaned up~ I didn't deep clean, or dismantle other than as shown. Seems to hold pressure, inner tank appears gunked up, from what I could tell by removing lid & looking. ..There was a single mantle attached which fell apart when cleaning...Light ta...rnish, a couple of small chips around top, no dents in tank but some scratches, light rust around where top cap screw goes in. Complete other than the globe, as far as I can tell. Great for the expert restoration! Please view all photos for best description! Bottom is stamped with a 1 on the left and a 5 on the right.
