Vintage Remington PowerLite PL - 5 Chainsaw Runs Good With 120psi Compression

This is a Remington Arms PowerLite PL-5 chainsaw. This saw starts and runs well with the compression testing at 120 psi. It does smoke when running which is likely burning off some old residue and carbon. Included is an original 22" Remington bar with a good Oregon chain which will be disassembled for shipping. There are some grooves in the side of the bar but they do not affect usability. Cosmetically this saw is in good condition. There is ob...vious scratches and paint chipping, but the graphics are still pretty good and there is no major damage. We did notice that a few bolts have been replace, one in the starter housing, one in the muffler and one in the underside of the rear handle. One of the bar nuts has also been replaced. This is a great example of a classic 1960's chainsaw that would look great in any collection. Ships via FedEx Ground.
