General Electric "Teardrop" vintage record player, in working order and in very good
condition (circa 1945).This GE model teardrop body and beautiful streamlined
style bakelite tone arm was designed by John Vassos. There are two holders under
the tone arm for storing new and used needles. This record player was designed to
plug into and use a radio as the amplifier. Please note that the plug in adapter has
been conve...rted to an RCA plug ( see photo). Measures approximately 10.75" X 14.5" X 5", weighing
5.5 lbs.Overall condition is very good+. I see no breaks or damage to the exterior bakelite. This unit is
operating fine. It is from my own private collection.A note to consider: This record player is a collectors
item and it should be treated as such. (It is a MONO unit, after all). If your considering purchasing
because you want to hear great sound, then you may want to look elsewhere...
