This sale is for an estate find, a beautiful, large, carved red cinnabar table lamp made in China, age unknown. The carved design features beautiful flowers and Chinese characters. The lamp is shown in the first listing photo with a white lamp shade. The brass harp and finial are included, but the shade is NOT part of this sale (it belongs to another lamp we have in our dining room). The body of the lamp (including the black lacquer wood stand) is 17 and 1/2 inches tall, with an o...verall height of 32 inches from the bottom of the lamp to the top of the finial. The lamp is 8 inches at the widest. The weight of the lamp is about 6 pounds. It was likely a large red cinnabar vase with a blue enamel interior before being re-purposed into a lamp. The wiring is all up-to-date and safe to use.
