VINTAGE SCHWINN CONTINENTAL10 SPEED ROAD BIKE RED. Serial number shows it was built in the Chicago factory November 1972. 17 years ago I had a serious bike accident (not on this bike) and haven't ridden since then, so the bike has been in storage for a while. It's mechanically sound, but while in storage all the rubber parts have deteriorated so it will need new tubes, tires, brake pads, cables. It will need some TLC/maintenance such as cleaning/lubrication to get it looking and funct...ioning at its best. Handlebar wrap is coming off on right side and will probably need replacement. I've hung onto it, hoping that I'd be able to ride again but health won't permit it so it needs a new home, preferably with someone who appreciates this classic.
