Vintage Horikawa SH Swivel-O-Matic Astronaut – Japan – 1967-1969 – AS IS Here’s a Swivel-O-Matic Astronaut for your shelf. He has his issues. Look closely at pictures they are part of the description, a little corrosion, missing s...witch, scratches at tabs so likely opened in the past – possibly explaining the missing switch. Regardless, he displays nice and is as cleaned up as he can be. These were tin battery-operated astronaut robots with guns in the chest plate. There were multiple versions of this Astronaut, this is one of early versions that is all tin and has small plastic covers or lenses over the small dials at his waist. Swivel-O-Matics had a doorless chest plate that hinges at the bottom that lets it swing forward and down, then the guns fire with flashing lights. When working this guy should walks, rotate, and fires guns. Due to the missing switch he is untested and should be assumed to be non-working. For display, parts, or repair. AS IS.
