Up for auction is this beautiful antique Chinese carved green spinach jade and carnelian agate stone and glass tree sculpture in a finely enameled cloisonne flower pot / vase / jardiniere. I have TWO for sale this week and both with unique flower pots! This one is quite spectacular with leaves and flower petals quite full.
The flower pot has rare scholar art objects on both sides and large flower blossoms in between. I believe this dates to the late 19th / early 20th C period. Late ...Qing / Republic Period.
In great condition with a few leaves having some minor tip loss, otherwise perfect.
Measures about 9.6” inches tall, 7.7” inches long and 4.5” inches wide (24.4 cm, 19.6 cm, 11.4 cm). Flower pot itself measures 3.5” inches in diameter at the upper rim and 2.9” inches tall (8.9 cm, 7.4 cm).
Would make a fantastic display piece, fine addition to a collection, or a great gift!
