DESCRIPTIONA copper "Suiteki" ornament of a kappa and a frog, made by Takaoka Doki metalworkers.
Suiteki=Water-dropper
When you dip this figurine in the tub, water comes in through the mouth.
Generally, drops of water are poured onto the inkstone as a calligraphy tool.
In Japan, many enthusiasts enjoy displaying them on their desks.
