I was getting too many comments about the inaccuracy of the previous add. Therefore, it is being relisted and everything in this add is CORRECT. I can not and will not take parts out of this guitar for additional pictures so please don't ask. We have included pictures of what most everyone have asked for in the previous listing. I am selling this guitar for a female friend of mine. The Guitar was her Uncles and has been in closet all these years. She has fallen on hard times and ...needs the money for medical treatments. Everything written below this paragraph comes from her and a musician friend of hers. Please feel free to ask questions. The Guitar is all original and has the sought after PAF pickups. It was originally purchased on August 15th 1962 from Werlein’s Music Store in Shreveport, Louisiana. The original price on this guitar in 1962 was $481.62. Considering you could buy a hamburger for .15 cents. That was a lot of money then. It’s a true original and there are not many like it. I had a Professional touring musician friend of mine run the serial number through his contact with Gibson. This is a true bucket list guitar for serious collectors and musicians only. 1962 Original Les Paul Custom SG Collectors DreamFor sale is a 1962 Gibson Les Paul Custom with an original factory Gibson installed tremolo.Guitar is in outstanding condition and 100% all original. Please see the enclosed photos.The finish has some of the typical checking that these old white Gibson's all have, but it is much less severe on this particular one than you usually see!Neck is straight, action is very low and plays great. This is an original "Fretless Wonder" with the tiny width frets that are very low right out of the factory (just the way Les himself liked).There are typical cracks (in the finish only see photos ) but zero breaks or repairs at the headstock and body joint.3 original, gold, PAF pickups complete the package on this beauty. Electronics are 100% original and untouched (just like the rest of the guitar).Comes complete with the original hardshell case, original receipt of purchase and all other original Paraphernalia that are pictured in the photos.One of the case buckles has come off but it is included and can be repaired.
