a vintage pre-owned and used Singer portable Sewing Machine Model 99-31 with carry case and instruction booklet. Machine was purchased at an estate sale and was original to the family selling it - one owner machine - but has not been used for many years - in attic storage. We have lightly oiled the machine, plugged it in and runs smoothly, but have not used it for sewing - therefore, considered untested. Researching the serial number of AM033746 indicates it was... manufactured on April 15, 1955. Cloth covered wood box case does show some age discoloration - still a very presentable and secure case. Tape residue strip near bobbin plate for some reason - only the previous user would know why it was placed there - otherwise pretty clean. As this is a vintage used electrical machine can give no guarantees on its continued use and workability - even though we see no reason why there would be a problem. You are buying as is - no refunds or returns. Entire outside box, in place, measures 15 x 8 x 12 1/2" and weighs 29 pounds unpacked for shipping. Note: Shipped within the USA only. Questions??
