This is a exquisite antique Chinese silk "Jewelry or Trinket" box , which is covered with extraordinary beautiful hand embroidery with silk. With a design of a very detailed "Phoenix Bird - Rising Above Flames" This is in such amazing condition that it looks almost new. But is actually very old, and closes with a hand carved horn clasp.
