LOVELY 13" ANTIQUE PORCELAIN HEAD BABY DOLL PROBABLY GERMAN PAINTED EYES
This lovely antique baby doll has a bisque socket head, wonderful expressive character face and open/close mouth. The head is marked "10." on the base of the back of the head. The doll's delicately hand painted face and hair are very well done. There are no cracks or problems with the head.
The five piece antique composition body is in excellent condition except for paint wear... on the hands and a chip on the inside of the doll's pinky finger on its right hand.
The doll is dressed in a cotton diaper, vintage cotton petticoat and dress and hand sewn blue cotton cape.
PLEASE NOTE: The doll is not marked Germany but looks very much like similar German baby dolls.
This doll is very special and would be a wonderful addition to a doll collection.
