Here is a quality Made in Sweden Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 5500 D high speed direct drive bait casting reel. This model was only catalogued in 1978-79. Lot number 771100 indicates this reel was made in 1977. Shows finish wear, mainly on the top of the rims - please enlarge photos from all angles. Cranks smoothly and the level wind works well. The direct drive drag was not working... correctly so I had Dick Janak professionally repair it - works great now. A fine addition to your collection! Thank you for looking!
