Up for auction is this vintage / antique Chinese hand carved red cinnabar lacquer resin jewelry / snuff box with beautifully incised scroll ground and peony flower blossoms and foliage on the lid. Carved vine scrolls on sides of the lid and base. Bottom and interior are painted black.
Measures 4.1” inches long, 2.8” inches wide and 1.9” inches tall (10.4 cm, 7.1 cm, 4.8 cm).
Would make a fantastic display piece and box to use, fine addition to a collection, or a great gift!...
