Vintage deck of 53 playing cards (13 of each of four suits, 1 joker) with prints of Currier & Ives lithographs on each card.   Photos show the titles of each lithograph, by suit.    The scenes feature development and life of the United States in historic times.
The cards and box are in excellent condition.   Originally purchased at the Smithsonian Museum shop.
