Especially beautiful antique or vintage Chinese porcelain Famille Rose bowl, 4-3/4" diameter at top and 3-1/4" tall. Features handpainted floral medallions, chrysanthemums, with wonderful light pink and aqua, and some light green and white designs. The bowl is glazed, but the inside top rim, about 1/8" wide, is unglazed, and the maker placed a small "x" there, so this may have had a lid at some time. Bowl is stamped but, as there's such a history of counterfeiti...ng porcelain ware, I cannot with any confidence date this. It does seem to have some age, possibly 19th century or very early 20th. Very good condition, no chips, cracks, or crazing. From smoke-free home.Thanks for looking.
