This is a set of two (2) vintage Japanese early Showa Era (c. 1930) Hikite (finger pulls) handles for fusuma (sliding Japanese door). Made of steel or steel alloy and with holes on the top and bottom for mounting. These are black/very dark brown with silver centers. Aside from oxidation and missing paint, this set of hikite handles remain in good condition ready to be incorporated into your next project. Great for repairs, replacements or to give some true character to a... new creation. They each measure 2 7/8" wide by 2 3/4" tall by 3/8" tall (7.3 x 7.3 x .8 cm).
