This is a small Set of Two (2) Original 19th century U.S. Fractional notes, from the 1860s. Denomination: one 5 CENTS note + one 10 CENTS note. Image of GEORGE WASHINGTON on front of each note. Notes are in overall Good condition, w/generalized wear, dark-toning, some Tiny "pin-holes", old "fold-lines", tears, etc; otherwise, o.k. They range from Good to aVG or slightly better. These little notes were intended as "small change" to fill the coin shortage... during the Civil War period. Low beginning bid! Buyer pays $1.45 S&H, extra for postage outside the U.S. ***Please see scans. I am showing both sides of the notes. While these notes are Not in the best condition, they are NOT Junk! They are still VERY Collectible!
