This is hands down the most primitive microphone I've ever seen. Undated but looks to be circa 1920s or early 30s. Obviously sold as a toy for the aspiring radio announcer. Made by Johnson-Smith & Co. Detroit.Measures 3'' x 2.5'' not including wires. It's about 1/8'' thick! Untested and offered as is. Would be fun to see if it still works!Shows cosmetic wear and some soiling as you an clearly see in the photos but overall in good solid condi...tion and displays very well.
