This is a beautifully made whimsical hooked rug by IGMA artist Marny Cardin. It is truly a work of art and a collector’s piece.

This small hooked rug in wool and burlap is titled on the back, and shows Santa heading downstream in a canoe. This lake scene also includes fish, birds, trees and a reindeer. I...t is wonderful and fun little rug, perfect for display year round.
Stitched, signed, titled and dated on the back “San Louis Obispo” “Paddle Your Own Canoe” “Marny Cardin” “1993-1994”, on the back. The front oof the ruff has the artist’s stylized initials MC in the right corner.
