Description: Here is a very cool ca. 1950s charm made in solid 14k yellow gold depicting a gem studded drum with pearl tipped drum sticks. Both drum & sticks are suspended from fine link chain, so this large size piece could easily be worn as a pendant with the addition of YOUR favorite chain!

Condition: Seen only with 10x magnification one of the small pearls has a minor bit of nacre wear / loss (nothing serious). One of the post ends is worn / missing at the end of one drum stick (see pics). Gold shows only some minimal surface wear & a hint of toning. Overall, Is say ready to wear.

Additional Info: 95% of all corundum (sapphire & ruby) is low heat treated to improve color and clarity. It is usually done to the gem rough before leaving the country of origin and before the stones have been cut and polished. This practice has been done for centuries and is considered common practice in the gem industry. Only gemological testing can determine whether a stone has been heat-treated or not.
