Butterick Vintage Doll Pattern Store Advertising Poster 21" Wall Display 300's
Smart Fashions for Dolly
Great vintage unusual in store display advertising poster featuring dozens of patterns and several dolls for display. Titled Smart Fashions for Dolly. Says, These patterns are for sale at all Butterick Salesrooms and Agencies or may be had by mail from The Butterick Publishing Company Butterick Building NY. (New York) Featu...res images of patterns ranging from 311, 320, 302, 325, 324, and beyond. Clothing includes Night gowns, Petticoat, Corset Cover, Drawers, Suits, Sailor outfit with Buster Brown collar, Dress, Coat, Melon Bonnet.
The actual print was framed and matted. The glass broke but didn't effect the paper content. The item was likely folded for a long time, then when unfolded, the seams had to be taped to be framed. Where the tape has loosened, you can see the vintage color to the paper. It has likely been exposed to light for a while and has faded. I have not attempted to see what is behind the print so I can't tell you what is on the back.
I will ship this in the frame for the cost listed, or, if you want to save money, I will remove the frame and ship just the paper at a significant discount.
Great for the doll collector, advertising display piece aficionado, or someone who appreciates pattern & art.
