Vintage Mechanical Tachometer Gauge Schaeffer Budenberg Woodward Governor

Very cool, heavy duty industrial mechanical centrifugal style Tachometer. Many of these gauges had multiple company names on them so I am not sure whether to say this is a Woodward Governor, or a Schaeffer & Budenberg, but I am guessing that S&B made this for the Woodward co. The larger face name reads "American Tachometer"
Please see pics with ruler for dimensions. This is very heavy duty and weighs just under 8lbs.
I could not fin...d another example of this so I am unsure of its final value. I will list it at what I think is a higher retail number, and you can jump in where you like. I will drop price frequently until it sells, so watch it for changes.
Glass has been replaced w plexi and is in good shape. I really don't know the application of this device, but am guessing it could have been on a power plant in a factory or large steam generator, or also on a naval ship. If you have info you are willing to share, please do. I love to learn about mechanical things like this and how they were used.
I attached the chuck of a hand drill to this and ran it at various speeds, and the dial appears to register correctly, but I am not sure exactly how accurate it is.
