Sterling silver serving spoon with engraved and wriggle work veining in the leaf-shaped bowl, in the Knowles "Tudor" pattern patented in 1885. The spoon weighs 1.79 troy ounces and measures 8 1/4 inches long and 2 1/4 inches across the bowl. Marked on the back of the bowl with Knowles Co.'s trademark and on the back of the handle "Sterling" followed by the retailer "E. Wiggers". A monogram has been removed from the back of the handle end, there are tiny nicks and very... fine scratches on both sides of the bowl, and a 1/4 inch crack at one of the folds on the edge of the bowl (see photo), otherwise in quite good antique condition.
