Hi you’re looking at a 1st year issue of the Shin Ei Univibe (1969) as indicated by the white font this unit has been partially serviced. All the pots have been cleaned with high quality contact cleaner. I will list all issues for collectors that I am aware of.
missing one original back screwmissing one black rubber foothas been taken apart and cleaned has all original hardware and circuitry to the best of my knowledge
I tested this unit with a different external controller an...d it worked. I did this by making the same schematic with a dual gang 100k pot and switch. The effect on these units only works with the foot controller engaged. Since I do not own an original foot controller, it is my assumption this unit will work with one given A) your foot controller worksB) the schematic I used worked
with all of that said, this unit is sold as is. Since I know the effect works, if it doesn’t sell for a reasonable price I will be modifying it myself to have a knob.
