Fine pair of vintage / antique Russian silver or silver plated cup holders - circa 1930-1960
Both are hand decorated in repousse technique, both bear an engraved dedication in Cyrilic characters which is dated
1. The larger one is chased all around with trees that have floral blossoms at the top and an elaborate root system - The tall handle is chased with leaf garlands - It bears a dedication and a date of 1936 - It bears the makers signature on the bottom - It measures 12 c...m tall, inner diameter for the cup is 6.7 cm
2. The second is chased with a pastoral decor of trees in a fenced field, birds, rockery and hills - The inscription is dated 1963 - It is marked 'SILVER 75', possibly 875 silver or 750 grade - It measures 10.3 cm tall, inner diameter for a cup is 6.8 cm
