Awesome rare pair of antique Blackfoot beaded moccasins. These are from the Blackfeet tribe. Very old, turn of the 19th Century.
Brain tanned soft leather, buckskin hide, light camel or tan color. Beads in tact on front of both shoes. Green, white, turquoise, red & pink glass seed beads from the Victorian era. Nice floral design on front. Were meant to be worn by a child.
Measures 7 1/2 inches long by 3 inches wide. Bottoms are in tac...t, hand sewn, all handmade. Authentic tribal relic.
Museum quality. A very rare find. These antique Native American moccasins are going for more than a thousand dollars if you can find them, in Southwestern art galleries. These are priceless. It's rare to get something from this wonderful tribe, and these are in great condition considering they're more than 100 years old.
