Item: Rare Lighted Cash Register Beer SignDescription: For Sale is one of the Rarer "Grain Belt" Lighted Cash Register Beer Signs that I believe dates from 1950's. Some know it as the "have a cool GRAIN BELT NOW!!" Lighted Counter Sign. It has a plastic molded face with a solid metal rear body with one light bulb inside. It was Made in Minnesota by the Minneapolis Brewing Company. It has a single twist on/off knob on the side and measures appro...ximately 10"W x 4 3'4"T and Weighs 1.3lbs. Some of my favorite "Grain Belt" Signs are the Hunting/Fishing ones but for the hardcore collector they know there are some that are just harder to find and this is indeed one of those. I am sure my photos will best further describe this item. Condition: On a scale of 1 - 10 (Ten being New in Package Only), I can confidentlygrade this item's condition to be a solid 7. Overall and Especially for being 50+ Years Old, this Vintage Advertising Sign is in Good - Very Good Working Condition. First, it is No Less than 90% Immaculate. I don't sell dirty items. Electrically it operates totally problem free with a clean, non-frayed cord and an on/off switch that works consistently. The main reason I can't grade this sign higher is not to the normal sporadic "shelf" surface wear you would expect to find but because of a small hole in the plastic on the corner (See Last Photo). It has a older repair on it that can be seen when lit even more so. The hole is approx. 1/2" long. There are Absolutely ZERO other Cracks/Chips and the Graphics are at least 85% Pristine. The front plastic face stays securely in place when connected to metal housing. My photos are anaccurate depiction of this item's TRUECondition. All Shipmentsautomatically come with Free Tracking.
