Antique Set 12 Limoges Gilded Open Salt Cellars Hand Painted Signed 19th Century Stunning set of 12 open salts cellars, or dips from Limoges, France. Signed and 2 are dated (97 and 98 - 1897/1898). I. Germond.
Each measures about 1 3/4 inch diamter and is just over 1/2 inch tall.
As noted above, there are minor flaws on 4 of the pieces. Also note the colors of the "dots" of paint vary: There are 2 pink, 2 blue, a yellow, a lilac and... the remainder are green.
Just a delightful, delicate group with a contemporary flair.
