Vintage 1969 mid century modern original oil painting. Depicts a Modernist still life scene of fruit and glass bottles over a sky blue backdrop. Well done with clean lines and thick and chunky paint. Medium is oil on canvas board done in an Impressionist/Modernist style. Signed by the artist Hilda Madsen in the bottom right hand corner. Inscription on reverse side reads H. Madsen, Parish Hall, North Amherst (Massachusetts), 1969. Framed in a sle...ek contemporary molded wood frame and ready to hang.
