A nice STANLEY BAILEY No. 3C Smoothing Plane very well maintained and in excellent restored condition. The plane has been disassembled, lightly cleaned, inspected for defects, lightly oiled and reassembled. It is a Type 18/19 made between 1946 and 1961 having features of both types. It has an excellent base with no marks or pitting; @ 98% of the original japanning; excellent clean crisp corrugated grooves and an excellent throat. The frog is very good with all free moving adjusters. A ...near new length Type "BB" logo cutter that is sharp with no chips. Both the tote and knob have no breaks, cracks or repairs. An excellent quality plane for the shop or the display shelf.Terms & PaymentThanks for looking and/or bidding on my auction.
