Offered is a vintage French quality made heavy copper sauce pot. This 8" pot has an iron handle with a hole at the end for handing. The interior of the pot is tin lined. The copper has a beautiful warm patina and this piece would display beautifully on a rack or open shelf in a kitchen. There is a mark (shield within a circle) on the side which reads "Fabrication Francaise".

The pot is in good estate condition. There are no dents or repairs and the pot is in the round. The handle is tightly affixed. There are some light colored superficial stains on the copper (they look like water marks for lack of a better description) and other scattered blemishes due to tarnish. The tin lining on the interior is very worn and the copper base metal shows through in numerous places.
