You are bidding on a Fox .049 FAI SPECIAL Model Airplane Engine
This has been in my personal collection for over 30 years. Engines turns freely with good compression. I am not positive which version this is, but please look at photos carefully to make your own conclusions.One weird anomaly is that the “Fox 049” name has been filed off. I believe Fox also made these engines for Comet, and later removed the “comet” name on excess crank cases so they could be sold under the “...Fox” name. That is at least a story I have been told to explain the missing name.Condition is "Used". Please see photos to determine condition.Shipped with USPS Priority mail.Thanks for looking!
