Description: A fabulous English Antique Victorian set of six solid sterling silver napkin rings which have a round shaped bodies with straight sides. Hand engraved with floral decoration each with a numbered cartouche with a splendid and unusual shaped border. The napkin rings are a numbered set from 1 to 6 each hallmarked with matching English solid sterling silver marks and maker. They come with the original fitted presentation box which is lined with a blue coloured velvet base. The... box is fitted with a push opener to the front which is in working order. There are no personal inscriptions, initials or family crest marks to any of the napkin rings. A wonderful set of numbered Victorian napkin rings with the original case and would make a great addition to a collection or are ready to be used. A stunning set.
Maker & Date Hallmark: Maker Walker & Hall. Date hallmark 1899 and assay mark Birmingham.
Measurements: Each napkin ring measures. Height 2.6 cm and diameter across 4.6 cm.
Weight: Silver weight of the six napkin rings is a heavy 161 Grams.
Condition: The set of six napkin rings are in excellent clean condition with no dents, dings, splits, holes, knocks or repairs. The hand engraved detailing is in excellent condition with no wear issues. All six napkin rings are perfectly in shape with no out of shape borders. The hallmarks all match up correctly they are very clear and readable. Just the makers mark is slightly rubbed on some of them. The case is in great condition with no wear issues or damage. Opens as it should and closes perfectly shut. Overall a splendid and rare set which are ready to be used or would make a delightful addition to a collection.
