ANTIQUE C.T. HAM COLD BLAST LANTERN
This very old cold blast lantern was made by the C.T. Ham Co of Rochester, NY which was founded in 1885 and operated until it was purchased by the Dietz Lantern Co around 1914. This lantern is thought to have been made sometime between 1900-1910. It measures 15" tall x 6-3/4" at the base and weighs 2 pounds 6 ounces. It has been inspected, cleaned and has all parts. It shows the original factory applied green paint and patent applied for dates on ...the corner of one vertical tube, but they are no longer legible.
The wick adjustment works properly, the font cap is easily removed and screws tight, and the unmarked shade can be easily removed for periodic cleaning. This C.T. Ham model lamp, which is over a 100 years old, is moderately difficult to find in this condition and would be a wonderful addition to any collection, or use it if desired.
