The LAVA 16 In Purple Wave Motion Machine

Vintage the Original LAVA WAVE motion machine Model 1951 Purple Clear Liquid Blue Machine Original Box / Machine / Adaptor / and Base, Everything Complete, looks Great....THIS IS A 16 inch TUBE with PURPLE LAVA .  I can't get the lava lamp balanced....READ ON...DESCRIPTION : I have plugged in, the Base works (wheel rolls back and forth), the Ocean Sound is working along with the Volume adjustment. The Clear Tube with liquid is in good condition, no cracks, it does have lack of flu...id, about 4 inches, please see my pictures.  This is Vintage. Not sure why. But replacement Lava Fluid can be purchased. I also can't get the frequency of motion to work.....when I put the tube of liquid on the roller base and turn it on, the liquid rolls downward, and then when it goes to roll the other way, the tube either falls off or does not go all the way over and consequently, does not roll back to other side.. This could be because of the fluid being off balance or  I may not know how to balance the machine.Which could also mean that maybe the roller part is off balance, or I am not doing something right at the set-up. Their is no leakage or fluid in the packaging so the box inside and outside looks great, all the parts are here and complete.
