1995 Buell Thunderbolt
Item History & Price
I have owned this bike for 19 years but at age 75 mydexterity and reactions have degraded to where I no longer feel safe on it. It has always been garaged and entirely usedfor afternoon joy rides. It has beenextremely reliable and the only maintenance replacements over the years wereoil, tires, batteries, plugs, rear brake pads and rear rocker box gasket. It starts and runs great and could be riddenanywhere in North America. It is nearly all original except the exhaust... was replacedwith a Vance Hines muffler, the saddle was replaced with a Corbin with leatherseat, and the turn signals were replaced with LED units. The bike has Pirelli Diablo tires front and rearwith fewer than 500 miles. The midnightpearl paint is in excellent condition and this is one of the few 1995 Buellsthat does not have any blistering on the tank cover. There are some very small stone chips in thefairing and a slight stress crack near the left mirror mount (see detailphoto). One of the hard cases has some deepscratches near the top (see photo that exaggerates the scratches). I rarelyrode with the cases and they can be quickly mounted or dismounted with twistlock fasteners. The sale includes the original owners manual in excellentcondition, a certificate of authenticity and an engine side plate signed byEric Buell. The side plate is engravedto show this is unit 826 of 1399 signature series produced.
