Vintage ceramic Siamese cats TV lamp by Lane of California. Great mid century retro collectible.The cats - one sitting upright and the other lying down - have sparkly blue/green glass eyes. They are nicely painted in shades of tan to dark brown. The lamp is 12" long, side to side, 12" tall and 5.5" wide (front to back). Back is stamped Lane CalifCondition: The ceramic statue/figurine is in good vintage condition. There is a good bit of crazing consistent with age and this typ...e of item. One ear on tall cat has a repair which is noticeable but not overly obvious.The cord was damaged (plastic coating cut and wires exposed) at plug end, so I have removed the pronged end. Because of this I am unable to test the lamp to see if it works. It should be an easy fix (for one who knows how to do it-not I!) to replace the cord and possibly the socket. I left the damaged cord on to show how it is assembled. Cat lovers or MCM collectors will love this item. Even if not used as a lamp, it is a lovely figurine.
