Vintage Wonder Mouse tinplate wind up toy made by Yone in Japan, likely sometime in the 1960s.
This toy comes with its original box but the box is in rough shape, including that it has pieces that are detached from the box.
The toy still works. The key is a bit rusty but it does turn and the mouse does move. It starts slow at first and then darts quick for a second or two and gets slow again. (That's how it's supposed to work)
As you can see form the photos, this is a nice loo...king toy that would make for a great display piece.
