Antique 18th Century French Water Gilded Wood Mirror. The mirror measures approx 16”x12”. This beautiful mirror is from the 1700’s so will show lots of age wear with cracks in gesso and couple very, very small tips that have been broken off and small broken off piece to very bottom(see picture) but does not take away from beauty of mirror. It’s structurally sound and ready to be displayed. I actually can’t believe the wonderful condition it’s in considering age. It looks go...rgeous hung on the wall with a grouping of creamware or with grouping of pictures or can stand alone. Lot’s of possibilities for this piece being that it’s a petite little treasure. Love to decorate with these small mirrors........they add a gorgeous punch to a vignette! This is water gilded so very special indeed! You can’t find mirrors of this quality anymore because it’s much to expensive and labor intensive , so what a treat to have this little beauty still around. Classic and timeless would describe this piece of history. Thanks for looking
